Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir

is a lively, friendly and committed group of around 35 singers conducted by Martyn Rawles. The choir performs in a range of services, concerts and events both in the Cathedral and more widely. It also sings the liturgy in the Cathedral when the Cathedral Choir is on holiday.

Athelstan 1100

The 1100th anniversary of the accession of Athelstan, King of Mercia, is being marked with a festival running in Tamworth 20-28 July 2024

The Festival includes Anglo-Saxon living history, community archaeology, talks, a dance circus performance, live music and more...

The choir is looking forward to singing a Festival Evensong at St Editha's Church, Tamworth at 6pm on Sunday 21st July.

About Us

During its 40 year history, the activities of Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir have included live radio broadcasts, weddings, tours abroad and visiting other cathedrals. 

Become a Member of the Choir

We have the pleasure of rehearsing and performing in the fabulous setting of Lichfield Cathedral. Weekly rehearsals are held there on Monday evenings.
